Galstays is a website which lists holiday accommodation owned and operated by gays and lesbians.

HOW DOES GALSTAYS WORK?

It’s simple, choose the accommodation you are interested in, enter your details, an e-mail will be sent off to the property to answer your request. You then deal directly with the property owners. The site is FREE TO USE for the consumer. When you stay at the property of your choice the property owner pays GALSTAYS a referral fee for the reservation.

WHY THE NEED FOR GALSTAYS?

Galstays has been developed to help gay and lesbian travellers identify accommodation that is genuinely a gay stay!

It helps to:

• Avoid the misuse of the ‘gay and lesbian friendly’ tag which often exists for commercial reasons only 
• Give gays and lesbians the chance to meet and socialize with other gays and lesbians
• Provide a greater sense of comfort and security by staying in a gay or lesbian environment

2% of all profits from GALSTAYS go back to the gay and lesbian community. We believe it is socially responsible to reward support from the gay and lesbian community.

WHAT IS A GALSTAYS RAINBOW BONUS?

A GALSTAYS rainbow bonus is a special offering that the accommodation provider may offer to GALSTAYS guests. It may vary from a bottle of wine to a love potion or a rainbow Frisbee! Whichever, it is a fun way of celebrating our community.
